Yes. I offer secure video sessions for clients located anywhere in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Florida, where I am licensed. You can also combine in-person and virtual sessions.
-
I can only provide therapy to clients who are physically located in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut or Florida at the time of the session, because of state licensing rules.

Yes. What you share is confidential and protected by law, with a few exceptions such as a serious risk of harm to yourself or others. I will go over this in detail at your first session.

Most people begin by meeting once or twice a week for 50 minutes. As you improve, we'll space sessions out to every two weeks, which lets you test your new skills in real life with a safety net. After you finish, I suggest brief booster visits at three, six, and twelve months. Longer sessions of 75 or 90 minutes are also an option if you'd like to move faster.

CBT is goal-focused and time-limited. Many people finish within six months to a year, and some concerns resolve faster. For example, CBT for insomnia typically takes 4 to 8 sessions. You are always welcome to return for a booster session if life stirs things up again.
